delicious

I imported my browser bookmarks, which included one for Library 2.0 in 15 Min. a day. I'd added that in 2007. Hmmm....

  1. HA! I love that you added that bookmark back in 2007. You are way ahead of the game there! I have bookmarks that I dream of someday going back to, but that magical day hasn't appeared yet. One day, I'll take an iced-tea out on the deck one evening and browse my bookmarks. (dream on!) But it's good to have them there when I do need them or make that day happen. I love saving local restaurants and recipes and then going to those tags when I'm in need of something good to nosh on!

Also, since I work in admin for a system, I use Delicious for the librarians I work with and have a feed on my youth services blog that captures what I bookmark on Delicious with specific tags like 'children, children's lit, grants, summer reading etc.' so that the librarians get a little glimpse of what I've found out there that might be of interest to them. You could easily do that for parents on a website too - bookmark certain sites on homework help, family trips, cooking healthy meals for kids, etc. and parents can glimpse at some helpful sites!
